Gumotex Aurion – key features
Aurion represents an evolution in the Gumotex offer. Compared to its predecessors, the Framura is 15-20% more stable, which makes it a fast kayak for demanding riders looking for both performance and confidence in various conditions. Its main advantage is the unique combination of dropstitch technology and a classic cylindrical chamber in one air chamber. The upper part of the cylinder provides load-bearing capacity and strength, while the lower dropstitch strip reduces contact with water and resistance, which increases speed.
Hull, stability and handling
The progressive V-shape dropstitch bottom narrows at the front for better hydrodynamics and directional guidance, while at the back it transitions to a flatter part that provides stability without losing speed. Dropstitch at the bottom of the side chambers minimizes the contact area with the water, which reduces resistance. if it is a fast but stable kayak suitable for long distances and dynamic riding. Keelstrip along the entire length protects the hull when landing and pulling over the bank.
Comfort and safety
The Aurion outfit is designed for long hours of comfortable riding and maximum control over the boat. The closed deck with waterproof zippers protects the cargo and simplifies packing. The seat is inflatable with a modern PUSH-PUSH valve, which means fast and safe inflation and deflation. The two-point footrest ensures firm support and better power transfer to the action. The boat is ready for rudder installation and the basic equipment includes a fin (skeg) to improve directional stability.
