Katadyn Micropur Forte MF 1T is a fast and effective water disinfection in tablet form. It is a unique product using active chlorine and silver ion technology. Due to its high disinfection effect, it rids water of bacteria and viruses within 30 minutes and at the same time preserves the disinfected water for up to 6 months. In 2 hours, it can eliminate very resistant protozoa such as Giardia Intestinalis.
Using the tablets is very simple, just throw an adequate number of mini-tablets (1 tablet per 1 l of water) into a glass, bottle, canister or container with water intended for consumption, let it dissolve and act for 30 minutes (or two hours). There are no health risks associated with using the product and the water prepared in this way can be used for consumption, washing dishes or personal hygiene.
The product removes germs, algae and odors from water. It eliminates the risk of infections from water coming from poorly maintained wells, public water supply networks (hotels and accommodation facilities) or from natural water sources such as springs, mountain streams, etc.
The product is highly effective for disinfecting visually clear water; in case of turbidity, mechanical filtration must be performed beforehand, e.g. with one of the Katadyn brand filters.
