CORROSION CORROSION
Galvanic corrosion occurs at a conductive connection (in this case immersion in salt or fresh water creates a so-called electrolyte) of two metallic materials with significantly different potentials.

There are three basic types of materials used for the production of anodes, namely zinc, aluminum and magnesium.

IMPROPER APPLICATION
If you use a zinc anode (designed for salt water) in fresh water and a magnesium anode (designed for fresh water) in salt water, the corrosion protection will not work, so it is necessary to use the anode according to where you swim.
Aluminum anodes are universal (fresh and salt water), with a capacity greater than the magnesium anode in fresh water, as well as zinc in salt water.
